Bread used to be a main staple in the Middle Ages Each person ate approximately 1 kg per day. The "daily bread" was also important for the monks. It was made in the monastery itself as most of the food. How bread was made in the past and what was needed for it is explained during the child-oriented tour through the monastery. And who becomes hungry during the tour may bake its own monastery bread using a delicious medieval recipe.
